Health Risks

As we all know, flies are filthy insects. Typically feeding around manure piles or garbage cans. House flies are known to spread diseases such as conjunctivitis, typhoid fever, tuberculosis, anthrax, cholera, diarrhea and dysentery. House flies regurgitate liquid from their stomach to dissolve their food, then use their sponging mouthparts to suck it up. They leave fecal spots where they are walking and this is the way they may transfer diseases to humans.
